The short play "Crossing the Mountains and Rivers of Guandong" tells the story of Zhu Kaishan's growth from a poor peasant to a legendary "traveler". At the end of the Qing Dynasty, his family and country were broken. Under the many contradictions of "survival - business war - family and country", he had no choice but to survive in a desperate situation. After a series of strong operations such as "life-saving gold panning, restaurant business war, burning smoke, protecting mines and saving the country", he completed a counterattack journey, a journey of loyalty, and a journey of life and death for an ordinary little man! The play is adapted from the work "Crossing Guandong" by screenwriters Gao Mantang and Sun Jianye.
