A Little More Trouble for You

[Campus, youth, one heroine, sweet romance, no System]

The way Wen Zhiyi shows she likes Lin Mohan is by “bothering him.”

She deliberately leaves her physics homework unfinished so he’ll tutor her, leans against him when the bus is crowded, and posts “My stomach hurts” where only he’ll understand it, hoping he’ll come find her.

She thinks she’s hiding it well.

In reality, Lin Mohan knows everything. She already understands physics, she’s only pretending the bus makes her lose her balance, and that social media post was meant for him. But he doesn’t call her out.

Because he likes her too.

She tests how much he cares by “bothering” him, and he responds to her feelings by “playing along.”

One thinks she’s hidden everything perfectly; the other saw through it all long ago, yet willingly fell into her trap.

Mutual secret crushes, a pair of lovable dummies, childhood sweethearts who stay together until old age.

The distance between them in love is perhaps the journey from her saying, “Help me,” to him saying, “I will.”
