Tennis: Thunder Breathing, Lightning Shatters the Nation

A successor to the Demon Slayer Corps' Thunder Breathing style is transported to the world of Prince of Tennis.

Tezuka Kunimitsu: “Stay alert. Go.”

I looked at my opponent's State of Selflessness, then at the racket in my hand.

Got it. Tennis is a kind of demon too, right?

First Form: Thunderclap and Flash!

The ball streaked like lightning, piercing the entire court in a single hit. Even the umpire couldn't follow it.

Atobe Keigo tried to use his insight to see through my weaknesses?

He saw countless bolts of lightning tearing through a frozen landscape.

“Be captivated by this genius's technique…”

“Thunder Breathing, Third Form: Buzzing Mosquitoes Become Thunder.”

Thunder boomed across the entire court. Ice World shattered.

Byodoin Phoenix came with the first string to put me on trial:

“Japan's team doesn't need a lunatic.”

I silently drew my racket:

“Thunder Breathing, Seventh Form: Honoikazuchi no Kami.”

Watching Phoenix get blasted off the court, his body charred black, Taneshima Shuji trembled:

“You call this tennis?”
