“Sato, will you go out with me?”
On the first day of school, the class’s unanimously acclaimed perfect beauty, Yukine Shirakawa, confessed to me, an utterly unremarkable high school student, in the hallway.
...It should have been the high point of my life, but then I noticed a fatal problem.
As she said it, she wasn’t looking at me. She was looking at the handsome childhood friend who had just transferred to our school, standing behind me.
“Um... Shirakawa, you actually like Saito, don’t you?”
“...! H-How did you know!?”
And just like that, I somehow became the wingman helping my crush win over another guy.
“How should we plan the date?” “What kind of girls does he like?” “Please teach me how to confess!” Every afternoon after school, the cafe became the setting for my and Yukine’s “romance strategy meetings.”
She clumsily made him lunch, and I taste-tested it.
She practiced confessing, and I played the target.
She cried over another guy, and I handed her tissues.
...I should have been heartbroken.
But somewhere along the way, she started remembering what flavors I liked. When I caught a cold, she secretly left medicine on my desk. And as she gazed at my sleeping face, she murmured, “If only I’d met you first.” A line that broke every rule.
Wait.
Was I helping my love rival win me over?
Or could it be that, in this romantic comedy about the losing heroine, the winner might not be the male lead?
It has a very light-hearted feel to it, and the switching between first-person and third-person is pretty good. After watching it now, I feel that the protagonist and his sister are very good together. Both of them are a bit sultry. Even the protagonist's secret love is too inexplicable. I feel that it can't last so long just based on looks. As for Shirakawa Yukine, to be honest, isn't it the kind of central air conditioner that subconsciously uses the protagonist as a spare tire? 🤭 When the gender is changed, he is chasing the goddess while having an affair with the girl who has a crush on him. After reading the latest chapters, my impression is getting worse and worse. If you go for a day-light plot, you can do a youth romantic comedy. A love triangle plot with a stomachache is quite popular among the audience. I really don't understand why it's written like this. It's about love but not love, comedy but not comedy. I can only feel aggrieved and depressed. And are there any normal people like the male protagonist and the female protagonist? Seeing that now the male protagonist is a licking dog who can do anything as long as he can lick the female protagonist, the female protagonist is a little green tea who is happy if she can be with the male partner, the male partner is a scumbag (?) Who likes other girls and knows that the female protagonist has a crush on him but will not accept or reject him, and the female partner has now inexplicably arranged a loser dog character who has a fruitless crush. I feel that the logic of the plot and the creation of the character are somewhat separated.
The supporting actor's sister asked the male protagonist to take a half step forward, but I thought it was reversed. As a result, I just got a closer look at the heroine (?) And the male co-star confessing their affection to each other. The heroine didn't hesitate for a second, and she was so happy that she cried. Then the male partner helped her wipe away her tears, and she burst into laughter. When everything was over, I saw the male protagonist and returned all the plans from the past few months to him, and then probably asked him to continue working as a military advisor in his senior year next year?? Really, the second female lead has probably confessed her feelings, so don't bother the male lead, just let them be together.
The story of dog-licking green tea and Neptune
I suggest the author to look at the male protagonists in other campus dramas. I hope the male protagonist can be changed into a fun person. Maybe it will look better. 😝😝😝 Everywhere I looked, I was in a panic.
Very typical Japanese comics or light novels, if you like "The White Album" or "My Girlfriend", it should be fine It's a bad ending, and the title was not included in the end.
The writing is very good, and the emotions between the characters are also relatively delicate. Yuu and Mahiru are good together, but the article and the introduction are a bit different. I'll see if I can change the introduction.
