Xu Nuo opens her eyes and finds herself in a domineering CEO novel as a troublesome female supporting character: the cold and aloof crown prince’s contract wife, who climbed into his bed by drugging him.
In the original story, the male lead and the original owner were bound by a family marriage contract. But he had always resisted the arranged marriage. Determined to marry him, the original owner used their engagement as an excuse to accuse him of assaulting her after he got drunk. Believing he had slept with her while intoxicated, he married her.
Taking advantage of his guilt, the original owner wreaked havoc in the Jiang household, constantly complaining of headaches, fever, and chest tightness, and bombarding the male lead with more than a dozen phone calls a day.
Later, the male lead discovered that he had been set up. In a rage, Jiang Yunqian, who had been deceived, threw the troublesome female supporting character into the remote mountains and drove the entire Xu family into bankruptcy. Xu Nuo’s parents couldn’t bear the shock and both jumped to their deaths.
In the end, the male lead’s beloved first love returned from abroad. They fell in love, and the story ended happily.
Xu Nuo doesn’t want to be dumped in the mountains, and she certainly can’t let Xu Nuo’s parents die tragically.
The only thing she can do is divorce Jiang Yunqian and run away before he finds out the truth.
Xu Nuo stops throwing tantrums and making a scene.
When Jiang Yunqian tells her to be quiet, she pretends to be mute.
When Jiang Yunqian tells her not to get any ideas about him, she pretends she’s a single young woman.
When the time is right, Xu Nuo disappears from Jiang Yunqian’s life for good, but the man goes crazy.
Jiang Yunqian: “Did I say you could leave?”
The man drags Xu Nuo back and keeps her tied to his side day after day. Xu Nuo lives in constant fear, often dreaming of the day he learns the truth.
She waits and waits. Even the original heroine has returned from abroad, yet the man still doesn’t know the truth.
Xu Nuo decides to confess, hoping he’ll go easy on her.
Jiang Yunqian: “I know.”
It looks good. I actually like the way the heroine does things in the first part. If she doesn't like it, she won't do anything that crosses the line. She knows what's important and what's important.
