Detective Conan: Code Name Negroni, Suspected by Both Sides

The night Shinichi Kudo was drugged, Gin did not leave at once.

He turned back to deal with another traitor.

Nanase Sakuya, codename Negroni.

A core member of the Black Organization's Intelligence Division, skilled in forging identities, information trading, psychological games, and counter-surveillance schemes. The good guys once thought he was a Public Security undercover agent, but his handler had died long ago, and all contact had been cut off. The bad guys had never truly trusted him either. Gin kept his gun trained on him, Rum coveted his brains, and Vermouth watched him like a play spiraling out of control.

He stood between red and black.

When his eyes were black, he was the Organization's sharpest blade.

When they were red, he would steal the people who deserved to die away from their fates.

Akemi Miyano had to die once to fool Gin.

Ai Haibara had to survive, even if she would witness his darker side with her own eyes.

Conan pursued the truth, the police followed procedure, and the Organization closed in step by step. Nanase Sakuya had only one thing to do:

Make everyone believe the story was still on its original track.

Until a body was switched, a report rewritten, a second of surveillance footage went missing, Gin received half a photograph, and Ai Haibara heard a recording in the dark declaring that her sister was already "dead."

Conan frowned. "Who are you, really?"

Nanase Sakuya wiped the blood from his hands and smiled.

"Someone who shouldn't still be alive."
