My Pond Connects to Ancient Times

Diagnosed with a terminal illness and given only a month to live, Zhao Lang returns to his hometown to await death, inheriting 3,000 mu of barren hills along the way.

What he doesn't expect is that the only pond in those hills is connected to an ancient age of famine!

And he becomes the Dragon King of the pond, able to make the creatures in his domain grow at an accelerated rate!

The fish in the pond and the crops on its banks can grow twice, three times, even four times as fast!

And that's not all: his lifespan is bound to the pond, too!

One new fish in the pond means one extra day of life!

Ten new fish means ten extra days!

So, with just a fish and a few wild vegetables, he gets people from the ancient world to work for him.

They clear weeds from the pond, repair its banks, reclaim land, and plant vegetable seedlings...

People in the ancient world all call him Lord Dragon God, for it is the Dragon God who has granted them the life they need to survive!

Meanwhile, in the modern world, an administrative village that was about to be abolished undergoes a dramatic transformation. Precious ingredients pour out of the mountain village in endless supply: lobster, blueberries, durian, raspberries, golden abalone, sturgeon, tuna, grouper, sea urchins, yellowcheek, black truffles, matsutake mushrooms, snowflake beef, black pork ham, and countless more!
