Synopsis

[Strict yet doting, nurturing gong + clingy, sulky younger shou who loves to act cute]

Young Xiao Hengluo is naive, spoiled, and playful. He’s especially good at batting his eyes and acting cute when he feels wronged.

Yusheng helps guide the ruler with strict rules and never indulges him.

When he makes a mistake, he is punished, all to teach him to conduct himself with integrity.

“Yusheng, I know I was wrong. Could you please stop punishing me?” The young man lowered his head, his voice soft and plaintive.

Yusheng remained composed. “The rules come first. When a mistake is made, there must be punishment. That applies to Your Majesty as well.”

The court all says Yusheng is overstepping his bounds, but no one knows that beneath all that sternness lies nothing but devotion.
