He Regretted It After She Left Without a Word in Their Senior Year

[College romance × mutual pining × bad boy turns over a new leaf × groveling hero × secret love comes true × reunited from the start]

[A fake bad boy with an intense possessive streak and separation anxiety × a gentle, clear-eyed heroine with an avoidant personality]

After an accident, Jing Se falls for Shen Que. He is the light she carefully kept hidden throughout high school. On the surface, he's a rebellious, aloof bad boy, but deep down he's already fallen for her. He's just never had anyone teach him how to love.

In their senior year, one careless “She's so annoying” shatters Jing Se's heart. She leaves without saying goodbye.

They meet again in college when she faints and falls into his arms. He has become impossibly obsessive, but she calmly says, “Shen Que, I was just grateful to you.”

At first:

Jing Se: A bright, cheerful ray of sunshine

Shen Que: A fake bad boy, seemingly rebellious and carefree, but cold and lonely inside, with no idea how to love someone

Later:

Jing Se: Gentle and clear-eyed, steadfastly true to herself

Shen Que: Obsessively regretful, with eyes only for her
