Huang Xiaoju is a yellow weasel who has cultivated for four hundred years. Grateful for Sha Zhu’s help, she agrees to stay with the He family, where she can look after He Yushui for him.
But she never expects Sha Zhu to go to Korea to fight in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, where he dies a hero’s death.
Keeping her promise, Huang Xiaoju remains with the He family, watching He Yushui grow up, caring for Sha Zhu’s posthumous child, and protecting the family’s peace.
In her daily life, Huang Xiaoju takes the form of a little black cat.
I took a closer look and it turns out that I have read all the author's books. I particularly liked the last one, but it was a pity that the main character was written off. I hope this novel will be longer.
