The Gray Tower Era

In 2041, a global catastrophe known as the "Silent Event" changed the course of human civilization. An anomaly called "logic contamination" began appearing randomly around the world. A building, a stretch of road, or even a single room in a city could suddenly become subject to a set of twisted physical laws and deadly puzzles. These contaminated spaces were called "Gray Towers." They continued to expand for 72 hours, and if they were not solved in time, all life within their reach would be "logically reset". Everything, from physical structure to memories and personality, would be rewritten into a creation governed by another set of rules.

To confront the disaster, the United Nations established the "Gray Tower Response Agency" and began selecting people with exceptional cognitive abilities from around the world. These people were known as "interpreters": they could perceive the "rule texts" inside Gray Towers and use logical deduction to find ways to destroy the "source of contamination." But the selection process was incredibly rigorous, with a 97 percent failure rate. Harder still, solving a Gray Tower required not only extraordinary intelligence, but also the courage to face the twisted "logical backlash" within. Every solution was a direct confrontation with the logic of an alien civilization.

In 2047, the sixth-generation interpreter selection began simultaneously across the globe. The story starts at a high school swallowed by a Gray Tower.
