Side Character Rescue Plan: The Plot Has Turned into a Total Mess

Also known as: Reborn After the Plot Goes Off the Rails, the Supporting Cast Awakens

[Strong Female Lead + No Romance + System + Ensemble Cast Elements + Redemption + Plot-Focused]

After Cheng Yue dies when the plot falls apart, she is reborn and learns that she was merely a stepping stone for the fake young master in this hodgepodge novel.

No matter. Even without a System, she used to trample the protagonist underfoot. Now that she has a System,

she's decided to

wipe out every melodramatic plotline in one fell swoop! You scumbags better tremble!

The wealthy-family feud between the real heiress and the fake young master?

The melodramatic love triangle between the returning first love and the stand-in?

The angsty school story of the underachiever and the top student?

The forbidden romance between an esports powerhouse and his teammate?

The obsessive young master's forced love?

The torturous romance with a groveling ex trying to win back his wife?

Cheng Yue kicks the script aside. Every storyline is getting rewritten by her rules!

But after unlocking every plotline, she realizes she's in trouble: the story is veering further and further off course.

Staring at the plot, which has descended into total chaos, Cheng Yue cries:

“Wait, how did everything get stirred into one big mess?!”

(Female lead: cold and intimidating on the outside, relentlessly snarky on the inside.)
