The Wasteland Era, two thousand years into the future.
Han Yuan is a walking disaster. He's so unlucky that even drinking cold water makes him choke, and when he farts, he somehow kicks himself in the heel. But he has something nobody else does: a bizarre program calling itself a “cross-border e-commerce System,” and an infuriating talent.
“Making people mad.”
The busted System collects resentment points, and the more resentment Han Yuan gets, the stronger he becomes. With a sharp tongue and a big heart, he fought his way through the wasteland, going from selling weather stations to launching a reseller platform, from taking on street punks to battling powerful families, and from running a little stall to becoming the North District's youngest business star.
But the wasteland was far more dangerous than he had imagined.
When the Guardians, mutants, and Central Council began appearing one after another, Han Yuan realized the truth: this world wasn't destroyed by natural disasters, but by human greed. Two thousand years ago, capitalists created mutants in their pursuit of immortality. When the mutations spiraled out of control, they drove their failed experiments into the wasteland and blamed it all on “wasteland radiation.”
The wasteland isn't hell. It's a dump.
And the “busted System” in Han Yuan's hands is actually the only key to ending a cycle that's lasted two thousand years.
