(Sweet moments, comedy, heavy on the clinginess)
When memories fade to blank, can music bring back the self that was lost?
Senka Sayo wakes up one day to find that she has lost all her memories of being in a band.
She only remembers being an ordinary (), but she’s told that she was once the keyboardist for the legendary school band CRYCHIC, and is invited to join the new-generation band MyGO!!!!!. Faced with enthusiastic new bandmates and unfamiliar old ties, Sayo is deeply confused. Why do her fingers remember the feel of the keys, while her heart is filled with fear of music?
“You don’t dislike music. You’re just afraid to try again.”
So says Toyokawa Sakiko, a girl with sky-blue hair. She founded CRYCHIC and was once Sayo’s closest friend. Now she has reappeared as the creative force behind Ave Mujica, carrying a score titled “For You, Who Lost Your Memories,” along with a past soaked in tears.
Three years ago, CRYCHIC blazed like a meteor before falling from the sky. Changes in Sakiko’s family forced the band to disband, and its members went their separate ways. At that moment, Sayo promised, “I’ll wait for you,” but as the long wait wore on, she gradually closed off her heart. Losing her memories freed her from the trauma of the past, but also robbed her of the ability to connect with music and the people who mattered to her.
Now, two melodic lines begin to intertwine:
Come on, boss [add one to the bookshelf] [grass has been planted]
