Siheyuan: The Orphan with No Mom or Dad

When Yang Jun opened his eyes, he discovered he’d become an eight- or nine-year-old orphan. His parents were gone, and all he had left was a small, detached courtyard of his own. Across the way was the big shared courtyard where He Yuzhu, Xu Damao, and the others from Love in the Courtyard lived. A few older boys surrounded him, shouting, “You’re just a stray kid nobody wants now!” Then they scattered. Yang Jun stood in his own courtyard, gazing at the dark gate across the way, and slowly curled his lips into a smile. He’d seen plenty of people like them in the show in his previous life.
