Weird Story About Rules: I Can't Afford to Rent an Apartment in a Haunted House

There are some abnormal spaces in this world that are polluted by "rules" (such as haunted houses, abandoned hospitals, late-night elevators, etc.). These rules are "laws" formulated by a being that transcends human cognition. Once violated, they will suffer a terrorist incident at least, or die on the spot or be "assimilated" at worst. Rules may contradict each other and may contain loopholes.
