One week before the college entrance examination, 42 students in Class 7 of Senior High School and their class teacher were involved in a car accident on the bus going to the swearing-in ceremony. When they woke up, they found themselves lying on a gray-black wasteland - no cities, no civilization, just ruins and wandering mutant creatures.
Monitor Lu Xixiao was the first person to wake up. He soon discovered that this was not Earth at all, but an abandoned alien world.
