In the early years of the Republic of China, the Yanjia Racecourse in the northern border town was on the verge of bankruptcy due to war. In order to save her ancestral business, the eldest daughter Yan Ruyu decided to tame a group of wild horses from the Western Regions herself. On the way to taming the horses, she met Shen Yunshen, a mysterious businessman who had returned from Southeast Asia, and the two fell in love with each other.
