A pair of surgical forceps engraved with "1943, Jia Wang" leads an unemployed programmer to trace his grandfather's belongings. He opened the dusty files and found four people who had been left out of the history textbooks - a silversmith, a washerwoman, a deaf man, and a Tsinghua handyman. They did not know each other, but they used their own skills and lives to relay a fire in the darkness. The four people added up to less than sixty pages of files, and two of them were nameless, but they had the belief of identification. They never wanted to be heroes, they just used their skills to do the right thing. Their names should have been forgotten-until someone found them one by one.
