In the year 2099, a "heavy fog" shrouded the world without warning for seventy-two hours. After the fog cleared, the underlying rules of the world were rewritten.
People discovered that a silver light band visible to the naked eye appeared over the city, like a crack tearing the sky, which was later called a "sky track." The "tide of spiritual energy" dropped from the sky, and some humans awakened their ancient bloodline and abilities. They were called "awakened ones". And even more are the "ruin beasts" that crawl out of the cracks in the abyss - they feed on fear, flesh and even concepts.
The old national system collapsed, and the seven "celestial cities" with the awakened ones as the core rose from the ground and became the last bastion of civilization for mankind. Outside the Celestial City, there is an endless "market area" with chaotic laws and hidden gods and demons.
This is an era that belongs to the strong, but it is also an era where ordinary people are like nothing.
Our story begins in the "Rust Zone" at the bottom of Seventh Heaven City. A young man who was judged to never be able to awaken was forced into a desperate situation in a market area and opened a bronze door that had been dusty for thousands of years. There is no inheritance behind the door, no grandfather, only the remains of a demigod whose bones are pierced by nine pitch-black chains.
The wreckage used up the last of his divinity and said something to him:
"Kill to the ninth heavenly track and restart the Age of Gods. Or, crush this hypocritical sky for me."
The boy held a chain. That night, a new gap opened in the abyss, and something climbed up from the bottom.
