I Opened an Inn Deep in the Mountains, and an Ancient Prince Came to Serve Tables

[Past and present connected + cozy daily life + running a business + food + System + lighthearted comedy] Tang Xiaolu escaped the rat race and returned to her hometown to inherit her grandmother's inn. On the first day of business, no tourists showed up. Instead, a “film crew member” arrived, so hungry his eyes were bloodshot. Clutching his stomach, he collapsed weakly: “Bring Your Lordship... a bowl of plain noodles.” Tang Xiaolu served him a steaming bowl of braised beef noodles. After one bite, the prince's eyes widened. “What peerless delicacy is this?” It turned out the inn's back door led to the ancient Great Yuan Dynasty. To get a taste of modern food, the powerful figures of ancient times all set aside their pride. The all-powerful chief eunuch rolled up his sleeves and washed dishes in the kitchen for two bottles of cola. The most famous assassin in the land became the inn's dedicated deliveryman for a packet of spicy snack sticks, leaping across rooftops to deliver the food. And the aloof prince, wearing a pink apron and scowling as he carried plates through the dining room, called out, “The barbecue for this table is ready!” Tang Xiaolu beamed at the gold ingots, antique calligraphy and paintings, and even thousand-year-old ginseng they brought her. The System's prompts kept sounding: [New recipe unlocked: spicy crayfish. Reward: one automatic vegetable-washing machine!] [The inn has reached five stars. “Cross-Time Delivery” service unlocked!]
