Half a year ago, the "Origin Point" descended upon Earth. Humans who had turned eighteen began awakening supernatural abilities, and the world order collapsed overnight.
Su Ming was an ordinary high school senior: socially anxious, an anime fan, and a programmer. He had a dozen stars on GitHub, all of them from himself. He thought his awakened ability was a useless F-rank power, until he discovered that:
He could see the world's source code.
Water glasses, tables and chairs, ability panels, even the laws of space and the flow of time: in his eyes, they were all lines of code that could be read, understood, and modified.
“This isn’t scientific… No, it doesn’t quite meet the design specifications.”
While other Awakened Ones trained their abilities, Su Ming debugged the world's bugs. While others fought desperately to level up by killing monsters, he studied how to add comments to his own abilities.
From changing the properties of objects to adjusting ability cooldowns, and then rewriting the laws of space, he steadily grew from an F-rank rookie written off as a good-for-nothing into an administrator who controlled the world’s underlying rules.
But when he finally reached the heart of the source code, an even greater mystery emerged:
Who wrote this world?
And when he discovered that being an "administrator" was not the end, but the key to an even larger cage, he had to make a choice:
Accept the rules and become part of the System? Or break everything and fight for freedom?
