The Dreamwalker

Chen Danni, a 21-year-old soon to be a senior, has a foolproof way to scare off blind dates: she tells them she’s in love with Shen Xuyan, the Tulpa, or inner consciousness, inside her head. But on her sixteenth blind date, she runs into Wang Chuan, who also has a conscious confidant hidden away. To escape their families’ endless pressure to get married, the two pretend to be a couple, train to connect through dreams, and form a four-person dream crime-fighting squad.

The menacingly malicious NPCs in their dreams are fragments of old wounds that have yet to heal. Beneath the seemingly stable connection between their consciousnesses lurks a deadly trap targeting Tulpas. They clear away the darkness side by side, but as they delve into their subconscious, they encounter buried pasts and cruel truths that even they themselves have forgotten.

As the walls between their minds dissolve and trauma becomes entangled with redemption, can they break through the shadows in their hearts? And how will the secrets sealed away rewrite the fates of all four?
