Ning Zhao, the laziest trainee task-taker at the Quick Transmigration Bureau, was sent to various small worlds to play NPCs.
Her task list was ridiculously simple: follow the plot, take a bullet, die, and exit the story. The whole routine went off without a hitch.
While everyone else chased hidden quests and pursued the protagonists for bonus points, she only wanted to meet her targets consistently and earn enough points to become a full employee as soon as possible.
So she dutifully followed the plot, exited on schedule, and made sure nothing went wrong.
But just as she happily submitted her mission report, thinking she was one step closer to becoming a full employee, the System flashed a red warning:
“Ding! After the Host exited, severe disruptions were detected in the plotlines of multiple small worlds. Protagonist behavior has become erratic, and romantic storylines have collapsed. Assessment: Major ‘lasting impact’ caused by task execution. Score: failed. Progress toward full employment: -15%.”
Ning Zhao: ???
The System added coldly, “The Host is advised not to make the protagonists remember you for the rest of their lives after exiting next time. Otherwise, more points will be deducted.”
Ning Zhao looked at her dwindling score and opened the next mission brief without changing expression.
“...I'll try. But could you all stop going crazy? I really just want to become a full employee.”
[The heroine really just wants a full-time position, but the more she works, the slower her progress gets.]
[System: Be a White Moonlight again and I'll dock your score into the negatives.]
