A Long Song in Gumo, a Journey to the Lonely Mountain

Built on the true history of the Eastern Han dynasty's "reopening of routes to the Western Regions," this epic takes shape around the heroic tale of a Han official who sets out alone on a diplomatic mission and goes on to forge an alliance of Silk Road city-states. It combines rigorous historical and geographical research, cultural exchange among many peoples, grand strategies of war, and profound devotion to the homeland, creating an epic IP with room for ongoing stories and many avenues of expansion. The five-part series, The Journey from the Solitary Mountain, The Chronicle of City Building, The Beacon Fires Link Up, The Alliance to Secure the Frontier, and The Year of Returning to Han, will take readers from one lonely journey on horseback to an alliance uniting the cities along thousands of miles of the Silk Road, and finally to a spiritual bond between Chinese civilization and the peoples of the Western Regions. Mountains and rivers are our scroll, and history our long song.
