Reincarnated as Homelander: From the Start, I Put the Hero Team to Rest for Good

On a livestream watched by the entire internet, I had lost my superpowers, and the Butcher smashed my skull with a crowbar.

The civilians I had once protected were flooding the comments with cheers.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back seven years in the past, in the top-floor office of Vought International.

The female vice president, Madelyn, had her collar open and was about to keep brainwashing and controlling me with her sickening motherly affection.

I felt the power surging through my veins.

And smiled.

To hell with superheroes. To hell with public approval ratings!

I grabbed Madelyn by the throat and slammed her, desk and all, into a bloody pulp as she screamed.

“Ding! Core character eliminated. Trait unlocked: [Iron Will]!”

My weakness was completely erased.

I turned and shot into the sky, descending on the secret base of the Boys.

Looking at the stunned Butcher and Hughie, my eyes glowed red.

“This game is way too easy.”

“From today on, I’m done being a hero. I’m your goddamn ancestor!”
