Zhou Yi was originally an undercover drug police officer, codenamed "Night Owl", but was betrayed and killed by an undercover police officer during an operation. When he woke up, he found himself in a strange film and television city - hundreds of unfinished entertainment industry script worlds gathered here, and he was actually the only awakened NPC in these worlds.
What's even weirder is that there is a huge criminal organization hidden behind the film and television city. They control the script world for money laundering, human trafficking and brainwashing. Zhou Yi must use his keen intuition and fighting instincts as an undercover agent to survive in this death game called "script killing" and find a way to return to the real world.
