My Cat Is an Apocalypse System

In her previous life, when the zombies broke out, she watched through the peephole as Lu Ming, the delivery guy, was bitten in the hallway, then jumped from the fire escape window on the twentieth floor. She was terrified and didn't dare open the door. Later, she was bitten too. Her final thought before she died was that she still hadn't fed the cat.

When she opened her eyes, she was reborn thirty minutes before the apocalypse began.

Su Mo didn't hesitate this time. She unlocked the door and dragged inside the man in the camouflage jacket.

Then her orange cat, who did nothing but eat and sleep, suddenly bit her.

“Ding! Apocalypse Survival Support System activated. Core host: Daidai.”

The cat was a System? Was the blood moon storm man-made? Was something on the moon's orbit controlling the zombies?

Holding the cat, Su Mo looked at the blood-red moonlight outside the window and said softly, “Lu Ming, we need to go out and find out what's going on.”

The man hefted his entrenching tool onto his shoulder. “Let's go, before nightfall.”
