No Visits in Our 1970S Military Marriage: She Brings the Kids and Turns the Family Compound Upside Down

Cheng Miao, a promising practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine from a family of doctors in the 21st century, had a bright future ahead of her. Then a car accident: she closed her eyes and opened them again in the 1970s, with a small child by her side. The Cheng Miao of the 1970s was broad and burly, with a fierce temper. Taking advantage of He Huai’s injuries, she forced herself on him and made him enter a military marriage with her. When Cheng Miao opened her eyes, she saw a filthy-faced little tyke in the corner, who asked timidly, “Mom, please don’t hit me. I finished all my chores today.” An old woman protecting the child trembled as she spoke. “Daughter-in-law, the meal is ready. Should I bring it to you in bed?” Cheng Miao: ... What kind of brutal start was this? Fortunately, Cheng Miao soon came to terms with everything. Once she had gotten used to life in the 1970s, she decided to go to the military base and end things with He Huai. Everything went as she expected: He Huai readily agreed to the divorce. Cheng Miao began thinking about her future, but as time passed, the divorce papers still hadn’t come through, and the man’s gaze grew ever more intense. Late one night, he held her tight in his arms. “Wife, can we please not get divorced?” . He Huai had only one blemish on his life: being forced into sex while he was injured. He was an upright man. Though he disliked her, he gritted his teeth and married her, considering that she was a woman, after all. He Huai thought that perhaps this was simply how the rest of his life would go. That was until the day he met Cheng Miao at the door, there to divorce him. He thought it might be for the best. But he never expected the woman he remembered as crude and domineering to seem like a completely different person. She was kind and strong, with excellent medical skills. She seemed to shine from within.
