The Ballad of the White Rose

[A furry-oriented fantasy with a modern-era setting]

Hogel was born into the White Wolf Vitestan family, a family of demon-hunting knights. His parents died when he was young, so he grew up with his uncle’s family and learned the art of demon hunting. The royal family decrees that the four great noble houses must invite the other families to the coming-of-age ceremony for their beastfolk. On the day of his cousin Leon’s ceremony, one of the heads of the houses dies unexpectedly, and the cause of death turns out to be connected to a demonic crystal...

His father gave him an unyielding character, and his uncle gave him steadfast resolve. Now he must walk in the light and fight the “demons” lurking in the shadows. Perhaps people’s hearts were already corrupted before the demons arrived. Perhaps his principles cannot save the innocent commoners.

This may be an imperfect story, a song of praise for the search for self and the pursuit of idealism.
