[Transmigration] + [Sengoku Japan] + [I am the father of Uesugi Kenshin's soul] + [Taiko ambition] + [Nobunaga's Ambition] + [The protagonist isn't mindless or saintly] + [The enemies aren't dumbed down or idiots] Alternate titles: Reborn in Sengoku Japan: Hosting a Barbecue at Honnoji; The Oda Clan's Greatest General, Nagao Nobutada's Memoirs; Sengoku Ambition: Nagao Nobutada Unifies Japan The protagonist, Cai Heng, was a fat good-for-nothing shut-in from the 21st century who spent every day in his room playing Taiko Risshiden DX. Then, by a twist of fate, he was transported to Sengoku-era Japan in 1542, where he collided with and absorbed the soul of Uesugi Kenshin's father, Nagao Tamekage, gaining all of his abilities. (For details, see I Beat Up Oda Nobunaga and Became Shogun. This won't affect your reading experience.) In 1548, with Hideyori's help, Oda Nobuhide controlled most of the four provinces of Ise, Shima, Mikawa, and Owari, and joined forces with the Hojo clan to attack the Imagawa clan. Tai gen Sessai ceded the east of the Kiso River to establish an alliance between the Kai, Sagami, and Suruga provinces. He then sent Fuma Kotaro to assassinate Nobuhide, leading to Nobuhide's death. Oda Nobunaga succeeded him. Nobukatsu rebelled. To win Nagao Hideyori over, Nobunaga married off two-year-old Oda Ichi to him and forced him to change his name to Nagao Nobutada. On their wedding night, Nobunaga told Nobutada that he had his sights set on Kiyosu Castle. Meanwhile, Oda Nobukatsu was preparing to rebel for a second time. Oda Nobumitsu, lord of Okazaki Castle, colluded with Oda Nobutomo and the Imagawa clan, intending to make himself head of the Oda clan. The Oda clan was suddenly beset by internal turmoil, and the realm plunged into chaos. How will Hideyori, lord of Anotsu and Kameyama Castle, turn the tables? 1. High-octane action ahead.
