Ashes of Bone, Heavens Concealed

The heavens split thirty thousand years ago, and daylight was buried in the abyss. The human world is like dying embers: holy lands conceal traitors, foreign races watch from the borders, and the weak are no more than ants. Gu Chen, a rootless orphan, scrapes by in Forgotten Town. While others cultivate by absorbing spiritual energy, he uses bone as iron and fire as a hammer, tempering his body into a weapon. His tempered hands can split mountains, his tempered bones can prop up the sky, and his tempered life can defy time. The ancients tried to forge the heavens, but their work shattered halfway through, and their corpses filled the abyss. Ancient clans, immortal sects of the holy lands, dark forbidden zones, and foreign remnants all uphold the same lie: the heavens cannot be mended. Now the fire awakens, and the orphan rises. The old sky is about to fall; a new one awaits its making. With nothing but his mortal bones, he will burn his way into the cracks in the heavens and become the one and only man across the ages to mend the sky!
