After I Gave Up Winning Over the Villain, the Crown Prince Went Mad

Su Qingyuan spent a full three years raising the favorability of Xie Yan'an, the cold-hearted, icy-faced villain and heir apparent, to 99%.

Just as she thought she was about to complete her mission, claim her reward, and return to her original world, the progress bar suddenly got stuck.

No matter what she did, his favorability would not rise any further.

Only then did the System reveal the truth:

As the villain in the book, Xie Yan'an was destined to truly fall for the female lead alone.

And Su Qingyuan, a disposable supporting character, could never genuinely move the villain's heart.

Once the female lead appeared, Xie Yan'an really did start neglecting her.

Su Qingyuan was furious. The System had actually tricked her! She gave up completely and refused to do another thing.

The System then promised that Su Qingyuan could switch to a different target, as long as she could get Xie Yan'an's favorability back to its original 0.

Then everything could restart, and Su Qingyuan could still get her reward.

So Su Qingyuan began acting out in every possible way, giving up on winning over the villain and focusing entirely on making Xie Yan'an hate her.

But this villain was so unpredictable. Once she stopped pursuing him, he actually went off the deep end.
