(This is a fanfiction based on the TV drama The Investiture of the Gods.
In this version, Jiang Ziya never falls in love with Ma Zhaodi.)
Taiyi Zhenren × Jiang Ziya
On the eve of breaking the Immortal-Slaying Formation, Jiang Ziya, chancellor of Xiqi, is poisoned. He consults the Heavenly Book, only for it to tell him there is no antidote!
Well, it’s nearly over anyway. He’ll just use the Apricot Yellow Banner to protect his heart meridian for now.
Suddenly, someone calls, “Ziya!” Taiyi Zhenren makes a dazzling entrance!
But Taiyi doesn’t notice anything amiss…
Jiang Ziya had planned to disappear quietly somewhere no one would find him after completing the mission to confer the gods… but instead, he faints right there on the Investiture Altar!!!
Sigh. He has no choice but to be taken back to Yuxu Palace. So much for his plan.
Fortunately, the poison isn’t hard to cure, but!!!
Jiang Ziya has lost his memory!
He’s back to the time before the Investiture of the Gods…
