A devastating flood struck Qingsha in Linzhou. A dragon's shadow appeared in the Lushui River, and Weiya Cliff collapsed, drowning hundreds of thousands and laying waste to the land.
The Jiang family of Weishan sacrificed themselves to hold back the flood, leaving Jiang You as the sole survivor. He received an edict from the Divine Court, was granted a celestial office, and embarked on the path to immortality.
After receiving his appointment and gaining cultivation, Jiang You discovered an astonishing net in his sea of consciousness. It could ensnare and conceal all things, and capture spells, magical artifacts, pills, and even cultivation techniques and divine abilities. Nothing was beyond its reach.
He begins by patrolling the river, then ventures into the mortal world. He takes a tree spirit as his disciple, journeys through the Underworld to seek the Dao, goes undercover in a demonic clan, and takes charge of a mountain god's shrine. He cultivates divine abilities, slays demons and monsters, and helps govern the land...
