Everyone said Chen Jiu had earned merit by vanquishing demons, personally slaying the traitorous sect leader who had wreaked havoc across the world.
Then the Nine-Night Calamity swept through Feng City, and the truth came crashing down:
The demon who died so tragically was a lone savior who had endured humiliation for ten thousand years. The Lord of the Abyssal Prison, hunted for generations, was actually a scapegoat for heaven and earth, framed by the six sects' ancestors countless ages ago.
The deception behind the eternal cycle of reincarnation was shattered, and an apocalyptic calamity from beyond the realms would arrive in three years.
Chen Jiu gathered the complete legacies of the six sects and led his people across the four seas, traversing six ancient ruins, settling the sects' longstanding blood debts, and uncovering the dark secrets buried by their ancestors.
Once, he vanquished evil and quelled the prison. Now, he would defy heaven and mend it. Former enemies, righteous and wicked alike, joined hands to resist the world-ending disaster from beyond the heavens!
