Yujin Pass, isolated beyond the frontier, faces utter destruction.
Thirty-four soldiers hold the line in a desperate fight. After twenty-six days of bloody battle, only twelve survivors remain. Their provisions are gone, reinforcements have failed to arrive, and the wounded fill the camp. Tens of thousands of Shuo cavalrymen eye them hungrily. A battered pass is their last line of defense.
Blades are stained with blood, and beacon fires burn across the sky. No miracle descends from heaven, no invincible general appears. A band of ordinary soldiers form a wall with their own bodies and fight to the death without retreating.
They capture the enemy in a decisive battle, and the fighting ends, but the survivors’ journey south remains fraught with danger. Factional exclusion, remnants of the enemy, and the legacy of their fathers all lie ahead.
The lonely pass will not fall, and the war spears will not rest. The banner has not fallen, the people have not scattered, and the fire of Yujin will never go out.
My new work is out! You’re welcome to read it on Tomato Novel. I hope you’ll enjoy it. Your support motivates me to write, and I’ll do my best to tell every story well!
The content in the book is still very attractive, and benevolent people have different opinions.
