Back to My Youth: This Life, I’ll Have It All

Urban, campus, ultra-sweet, slow-burn, band

Li Chan, 35, stood in the living room of the two-bedroom apartment he had finally paid for in full after thirteen years of hard work.

Thinking back on the thirteen years he'd struggled after dropping out of high school, tears began to stream from his eyes.

Crack!

Before Li Chan could wipe away his tears,

the fancy ceiling light he'd had specially installed in the living room suddenly came loose.

The sharpest piece hit Li Chan squarely on the head.

Li Chan died.

Hiss!

Li Chan sucked in a sharp breath and sat up in bed. He looked around at the room, both familiar and strange, and fell into thought.

I've been reborn.

Hey, you guys better install that light properly for me this time!
