Introduction: Shen Jingqiu, a female college student in Peking, whose elder brother Shen Jingyuan was an underground member of the Communist Party of China, died due to betrayal by a traitor. She disguised herself as a man and entered the training class with the intention of completing her brother's unfinished mission. She was forced to be assigned to the same dormitory as Lu Shixi, her son Lu Shixi who was forcibly sent to the training class by someone in the military command. Shen Jingqiu is kind and tough, thoughtful, and has a sense of justice; Lu Shixi is irreverent, arrogant, and has a vicious tongue, and is lonely at heart, but values love and justice. The two went from being enemies who disliked each other to building trust through life and death missions. Lu Shixi went from doubting Shen Jingqiu's identity, to secretly protecting her after discovering that she was a woman, to gradually awakening in the brutal war, and finally broke with the Kuomintang father and the two came together.
