The story takes place in modern China (the main storyline is from the end of 2010 to the beginning of 2020), with real geography and fictional place names coexisting. In the five thousand years of Chinese civilization, there are countless ancient tombs and ruins left underground, some of which have never been officially recorded - they are called "hidden tombs" by the people.
The dark mausoleum is not just a tomb. It is a historical node that has been deliberately erased, a secret container that some people desperately want to seal and others desperately want to dig up.
