Welcome to 2048, the year of spiritual qi revival.
Here, martial arts flourish and ferocious beasts roam, but high school student Mo faces the greatest threat to his survival: delivery fees are going up again tomorrow.
Eighteen-year-old Shen Mo comes from a poor family and works part-time as a delivery rider. His motto is:
Keep your head down whenever possible, never pick a fight, and if all else fails, reason things out.
But fate has a cruel joke in store for him.
After he binds to the [Reverse Intimidation System]
The more he tries to smile politely, the more everyone else sees a “death stare.”
The more he tries to reason his way out and retreat, the more everyone else senses “boiling murderous intent.”
He just wants to quietly grow some vegetables, yet martial arts grandmasters hail him as the reincarnation of Shennong.
And so
Street thugs see him and collapse to their knees, trembling and weeping: “Please spare us, boss! We’ll never demand protection money again!”
Peerless ferocious beasts catch his scent and move away overnight with their tails between their legs: “Don’t do anything rash, brother! You can have our territory! Take our wives, too!”
The aloof campus beauty, eyes reddened, blocks his way: “Senior, stop looking at me with such tender eyes. I won’t be able to stop myself from offering you my hand!”
Shen Mo: “...I just wanted to ask if you could not give me a bad review for this delivery.”
All of humanity thinks I’m a world-ending demon, but really, I just want to farm in peace.
