Overworked office drone Lin Mu gets thrown by the System into an immortal sect story to play the Demon Lord. He plans to coast through the role, but accidentally kills the protagonist's entire group, and disaster-level wanted posters appear in the real world at the same time. Now he's the world's most wanted criminal, hunted by agents sent by the Alliance. With nowhere to turn, he goes more and more berserk in the story, until he discovers a universe-spanning conspiracy lurking behind the System.
