America: Emptying My Magazine Makes Me Stronger

My name is Lin En. I’m a Chinese American patrol officer who transmigrated to a parallel-universe America. In this crime-ridden city, where shootings are constant and shoplifting sprees have become the norm, I awakened the “Empty the Magazine” System. As long as I empty my magazine while on duty, I earn stat points, cash rewards, and System credits. The credits can be exchanged for extraordinary skills, future technology, and even the ability to check any woman’s affection for me.

When my blonde police-captain boss brings me coffee in the office, when a Latina nurse bandages my wounds in the ER, when twin campus beauties hide in my arms during a school shooting, when a mother and her two daughters invite me to dinner… I quietly check the System interface. Their affection levels range from 60 to 90.

“Emptying my magazine makes me stronger? What am I waiting for?” I pull the trigger, and bullets pour out. From the streets of Los Angeles to New York’s gangs, from border patrol to White House security, every bullet I fire is making this country “great again,” my way.
