Three years ago, Shen Jin's sister Shen Mian disappeared, leaving only half a piece of burned paper.
There are six rules written on the paper.
There is no Article 7.
Three years later, Shen Jin was working the night shift at a convenience store. At 2:17 in the morning, the cash register suddenly spit out a receipt:
[Welcome to the night shift copy.
Please abide by the following rules.
[Rule 1: Don't give change to customers in red.
[Article 2: If you hear someone knocking on the door in the freezer, please pretend not to hear it.
[Item 3: There is no seventh row of shelves in the store.
…
[Article 7: Damaged.
At first, Shen Jin thought it was just a prank.
Until a man smiled and walked into a convenience store and put his head in the microwave.
From that night on, he was drawn into a world of strange rules and stories from which he could not exit.
Convenience store, midnight bus, funeral parlor, lightless shopping mall, White Tower, cruise ship, Seventh Archives...
Every copy has rules.
But Shen Jin soon discovered that rules do not necessarily protect living people.
Some rules are true.
Some rules are fake.
Some rules are deliberately left out to the dead.
And all the missing seventh items ultimately point to the same truth:
The person who deleted the seventh rule back then may have been himself.
