Rule Horror: I Deleted the Seventh Rule

Three years ago, Shen Jin's younger sister, Shen Mian, disappeared, leaving behind only half a sheet of burnt paper.

It had six rules written on it.

There was no seventh rule.

Three years later, Shen Jin is working the night shift at a convenience store. At 2:17 a.m., the register suddenly prints a receipt:

[Welcome to the night-shift scenario.]

[Please follow the rules below.]

[Rule One: Do not give change to customers wearing red.]

[Rule Two: If you hear someone knocking from inside the freezer, pretend you didn't hear it.]

[Rule Three: There is no seventh aisle in this store.]

[Rule Seven: Damaged.]

At first, Shen Jin thinks it's just a prank.

Then a man walks into the convenience store with a smile and puts his own head in the microwave.

From that night on, Shen Jin is dragged into an inescapable world of rules-based horror.

Convenience stores, midnight buses, funeral homes, unlit malls, the White Tower, cruise ships, the Seventh Archive...

Every scenario has its own rules.

But Shen Jin soon discovers that the rules don't necessarily protect the living.

Some rules are real.

Some rules are fake.

And some rules are deliberately left for the dead to see.

Every missing seventh rule points to the same truth:

The person who deleted the seventh rule back then may have been Shen Jin himself.
