(The protagonist is a good guy, but his ideals differ from Zero’s: he won’t save godlike beings. He’s a secondary Ultra, intelligent, has no System, and the story has humorous and comedic elements.) Zhang San died suddenly after staying up late to watch Ultraman Omega while taking a dump. He transmigrated to a parallel-world Japan under the alias Hirata Jiro. He thought he was in for another boring life of lying flat in Japan, but then he “happened” to find Zero’s glasses in the hills behind his home and began his journey to save the world.
Jiro: Watch me use Zero’s power to set this world straight! I’ll kick little monsters and punch godlike beings, and wipe out every stupid plotline!
Zero:?! Are you going crazy from all the pressure? Let’s train a little less today.
Jiro: ...Weren’t you supposed to say, “I don’t agree”?
Why do we have to set the protagonist's soul to be Japanese?
