Ash transmigrates into the Marauders era of Harry Potter and awakens as the last descendant of Death, Peverell! On his first day at school, he catches James Potter and the others bullying Severus Snape by hanging him upside down beside the Black Lake, while Lily offers only a halfhearted word of protest. Seeing the humiliation in the black-haired boy’s eyes, Ash binds himself to the “Fate-Altering System.” Every tragedy he changes earns him ancient magic!

Without hesitation, Ash draws his wand and casts Sectumsempra, shaving Potter’s hair clean off. Then he drapes his dragonhide coat over Snape’s shoulders. “The person I, a Peverell, have set my sights on isn’t someone a pack of stupid lions like you can lay a hand on!”

From that day on, Ash became the one and only person to show Snape absolute favoritism. Not enough potion ingredients? He bought Diagon Alley! Someone mocks Snape for being a half-blood? He announces in front of everyone that Snape is his Peverell symbiotic partner! Years later, when Voldemort tries to recruit Snape, the greatest potion master of the age sneers, “Sorry, my husband has a bad temper. He doesn’t like me talking to ugly, noseless freaks.”
