Sectioned Synopsis
About the Protagonist
Lin Xuan isn't someone people like. He's quiet, obsessive, and cruel to himself to an almost pathological degree. He'll kneel in a torrential downpour for seven days and nights just to beg for one chance. He'll repeatedly slice his own meridians with sword energy until they grow tougher. He'll drive himself to the brink of death again and again, then claw his way back. He's not a genius, not a hero, and not even a normal person. He's simply an ordinary man who has had everything taken from him, yet refuses to give up.

Shen Qingyi is his complete opposite. A celestial phenomenon appeared the moment she was born. She established her foundation at five and broke through the Foundation Realm at ten, making her a once-in-a-century cultivation genius. When she first met Lin Xuan, she thought he was a useless fool who didn't know his place. The second time, she grew curious. By the third, she couldn't take her eyes off him. It took her a long time to understand: she wasn't moved by his perseverance. She had seen in him something she could never have, yet wanted more than anything.

Other people cultivate through talent and resources. He relies on being able to endure and being willing to risk his life. This premise runs throughout the entire book. Every seemingly cheat-like feat of strength is paid for in blood.
About the Main Plot
The main plot is clear and singular: Lin Xuan must find Yin Wuji and reclaim his sword bones, or prove another way that he can still...
