Who says a food delivery guy can't be a car guy?
Lin Zhe is a delivery rider who grew up in a small town car repair shop. His greatest skill is riding an electric bike to the extreme in traffic on rainy days. He thought these were the basic skills of the delivery boy, but he had no idea that these instinctive reactions were the talents of top drivers on the F1 track.
Until that day, his adoptive father, Lao Lin, threw an old notebook that had been dusty for twenty years in front of him.
There are four words written on the cover of the notebook: "The Secret of the Bend".
The first line of the first page - "Son, corners are not for slowing down, but for overtaking."
This is the diary left by his biological father whom he has never met. A name forgotten by F1 history. A talented driver who was framed by someone on the track twenty years ago.
From the kart track to the F1 paddock, from being ridiculed that "food delivery people deserve to drive" to having the whole world shut up——
Lin Zhe used "tractors" to tell everyone: There are only cowardly people, not cowardly cars.
The last lap, the last corner, full throttle coming in from the inside.
"Dad, did you see it?"
Twenty years of waiting, the dream of two generations, a diary filled with love and regret.
On the last page of the diary, crooked pencil writing reads:
"Run it. I'm proud of you."
——
There are no answers on the track, but there is someone waiting for you at the end of the bend.
