Exiled and Fleeing Famine, I Became Empress by Picking Up Trash

[Transmigrate into a book + flee famine and exile + unlimited supplies + infrastructure-building empress + fiercely loyal hunk]

Transmigrating into a war-torn world as an abandoned cannon-fodder character, Yan Qinghe gets bound to a useless System from the start.

No magical spring or pocket dimension, just the ten billion tons of food wasted on Earth every year.

After three years of drought, corpses litter the land, and a single dou of rice can buy a human life.

Yan Qinghe looks at the System warehouse, piled high with near-expiration bread, self-heating hot pots, tons of hybrid rice seeds... and smiles.

If they won't let me be the heroine, then I'll be the empress!

With half a moldy loaf of bread, she wins herself a fiercely loyal, undefeated general.

With several carts of sprouting potatoes, she builds an invincible city where everyone can eat their fill amid the chaos.

The land falls into turmoil, and the warlords try to unite and crush her. But when their soldiers smell instant noodles wafting from the city walls, they drop their weapons and armor and bow on the spot. "Please, my lord, spare us a bite to eat!"

In the end, the enslaved general she casually took in blushes as he drapes a dragon robe over her shoulders. "My lord, the realm is at peace. It's time to ascend the throne."
